FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
From Our 2006 PaintAmerica Top100 Competition:

Q. Can I enter more than once?
A. Yes, enter as many entries as you wish, in as many states if you wish. Since each state has it’s own competition, you have an opportunity to have your work recognized in multiple states, and better chances to advance to the national Top100.

Q. Does my entry need to represent the state I’m from?
A. No. Your entry or entries may represent any state in the nation, and as many states as you wish.

Q. What if I can’t download the entry form?
A. Just email us at mail@paintamerica.org and ask us to send you an entry form via snail mail.

Q. Can I put all my entries on one CD?
A. Yes, as long as each  is clearly marked and identifiable which entry is which. Be sure to include a separate entry form for each piece of artwork.

Q. Where do proceeds from the entries go?
A. Unlike contests that are run for profit, PaintAmerica Top100 proceeds go to support the programs and initiatives of PaintAmerica, a non-profit organization devoted to supporting and promoting the visual arts through education, networking, and advocacy. The PaintAmerica Top100 is just one of these programs, building awareness of established and emerging artists, establishing networks with galleries, exhibit opportunities, and art patrons; providing purchase awards and cash prizes, and opportunities for artists to have their work recognized at state and national levels. The competition also give artists an opportunity to have their work judged by nationally recognized artists.

Q. How are judges chosen?
A. PaintAmerica Top100 judges are chosen from highly qualified and nationally recognized artists from multiple disciplines including oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, etc. These artist/jurors are chosen from different geographic areas, and include male and female judges.
