PaintAmerica and SouthWind gallery of Topeka are proud to bring nationally renowned landscape artist Russ Tanner to the Kansas City area for the special afternoon seminar and demonstration.
Russ will demonstrate his unique style of realism mixed with subtle impressionism. With a very limited group size, Russ will invite you to get up close as he demonstrates his methods of capturing light, color, and expansiveness in a landscape. A unique, informal, but intensive session where Russ will answer questions as he demonstrates, and share his enthusiasm and experience with attendees. Beginning with the basic fundamentals including proper values, color, and strong composition, Russ will move to the next level demonstrating how to simplify nature's beauty on canvas. He's sure to help bring your skills, perception and confidence to a higher level.
Each attendee will be entered in a drawing for the original demonstration painting Russ creates, valued at over $900. In addition, you'll receive a voucher good for $20 off of your entry in the 2007 PaintAmerica Top100 Competition.
